Topic: sensory addition (Read 707 times) previous topic - next topic

Hello. I have ordered an arduino board today for experiments with haptic sensory addition.
The idea is described in this wired article http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/15.04/esp.html.
A sensor takes in information from the environment (in the article a compass is described but microphones, ultrasonic range finders etc could be used)
The arduino microcontroller converts this sensory information and signals to the actuators.
The actuators are on a belt. They are 12 vibrator motors each placed at an hour point around the torso.

I want to open source all designs and code involved. Is anyone else interested in this project?
