 Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset
I keep getting this error when trying to upload
Binary sketch size: 1008 bytes (of a 30720 byte maximum)
avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x51

I have the correct board selected: Arduino Uno, and I have the correct serial port 5
my windows is 7 starter, service pack1.

has anyone had this similar problem?
I would appreciate this very much

I get that erroe when I am using a breadboard that doesn't have the resert cap installed AND I forget to press the reset button on the breadboard right before the upload starts.  I would try manually resetting, if that works you might have a bad board.
