Wikipedia tells me, these things are the ultimate battery:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thin_film_rechargeable_lithium_battery#Advantages_and_Challenges

But: Are they available anywhere? Can I actually buy thin film rechargeable batteries anywhere?

I found these: http://www.powerstream.com/thin-lithium-ion.htm
But they simply appear to be super thin LiPo batteries, they dont have the awesome 10.000 charge cycles that thin film ones supposedly have...

any links, pointers, ideas comments?

Looks like it is still in science-fair mode.  There are probably companies selling into niche markets, but I wouldn't expect to be able to find this technology in the open market, yet.

Well, it's not water4gas but I do think that I smell investment bait.

I find it harder to express logic in English than in Code.
Sometimes an example says more than many times as many words.
