Hey,

I have a voltage divider to dc offset a voltage to 2.5V. And this is connected to an op amp. But the problem is that the dc offset increased by 1V after a few mins and then settles down. Why does this happen?

Can you post a schematic so we know what you have.

Does it settle down to the new value?

An op amp has it's own DC offset voltage and this is temperature dependent. Any gain in the op amp will amplify this. See the data sheet for how much your op amp has.
