Hello,
I encountered an problem when trying to update the arduino mega 2560 atmega16u chip.
It states that the hex file syntax is invalid
any help is appreciated.

due to my stupidity i downloaded the html file instead of the hex file. please beware that when you do save as in github the file extension will be a .hex but the contents will be the html file to get the hex file click in it and right click on the RAW button and select save as.
