Cannot read post dates when logged in. Dates are shown as ??

With both Chrome and Edge, post dates are shown as ??
When not logged in the correct dates are shown.

Looking at my Forum Profile I see the two below entries which seem likely to be the issue.

Does anyone know what blocks the local time? Or what settings I might look at?

Date Registered ??

Local Time ??

Thanks

John

Dates showing here just fine in chrome and ff.

You may want to check using INCOGNITO or similar in edge.
Just to rule out any add-ons.

UPDATED

I still cannot read the

I've tried a number of things to remedy this with no success:

  1. Chrome with cache cleared before trying
  2. Chrome Incognito
  3. Edge
  4. Edge InPrivate

In all cases I can read the dates before I log in, but as soon as I log in the dates go to ??

I also see in my profile two settings also show ??

  • Date Registered
  • Local Time

As a moderator is it possible to reset the Date Registered and Local Time on my profile. I would think that is the most likely source of this issue.

If that is impossible could I delete my account and recreate it with the same screen name?

Thanks
John

Even as moderator our powers are limited.

Deleting your account is of course up to you but you will suffer the vagrancies of a new account.
It does not guarantee a fix either so just a heads up on that.

DELETE your profile.

  1. Click you AVATAR and select "PROFILE"
  2. In ACCOUNT SETTINGS hit the "click here"
  3. Follow any additional instructions in the followup email.

Thanks for the reply.

I may be dense today but when your response stated "DELETE PROFILE" Is this the same as delete account or is there a way to delete my profile and recreate it while keeping this account. I'm guessing Delete Profile = delete account but want to be sure.

Do you know if I delete my account will I be able to create a new account with "JohnRob" or will the database retain the JohnRob name and not allow a new account to use it?

Thanks

John

Yes it is the same as delete account AFAIK.
As for being able to re-use your old profile name I am unsure but dont think it is possible.

You may have to be "JohnRob2" or something like that.

Thanks

(still) JohnRob

Or what settings I might look at?

Settings / Look and Layout / second input; it's under (Forum Default) to the right of Time Format. Remove the two question marks. Click Change profile.
