How to send temperature via serial to Azure IoT Hub or Event Hub?

I have Arduino Uno with starter Kit. I have "love a meter" done and temperature can be displayed in serial monitor in MacBook. Currently I have no internet connection in Arduino.

Now I would like to send real-time temperature to Azure IoT Hub or Azure Event Hub from Mac(or windows)? What tools is used and any code samples?
