Looking for a hall effect sensor that signals off when no magnet present?

Hello everyone,

I've come across a few topics with arduinos and hall effect sensors but I can't seem to find anything regarding this topic. From what I understand, most hall effect sensors send a signal when a certain magnetic field is present. Then to switch them off, you need the opposite pole to do so?

Is there a hall effect sensor that works with the arduino that toggles off when no magnetic field is present?

Thanks guys!

These are called latching sensors.
You want the non latching ones, there are plenty around.

Thank you!

Knowing the proper terminology greatly helps when searching for these components.
