Numitron / Minitron incandescent clocks

A while back I wanted to start making clocks using different numitron / minitron displays that are around and have been collecting them as time goes on .

I currently have 5 clocks made with 2 cased and the other three waiting to be cased .

The controller is a 328p PDIP and the RTC is a DS3231 and the digits are driven by 6C595 power shift registers that have open drain outputs . Displays are powered from a LiPo cell and the 328 / shift registers are powered from 5V .

The main thing to improve is adding time settings and extras as currently the code is very simple - displays the time .

Its all hand wired and solderd , No PCBs are used except for the 5V boost / Lipo charger
