I want to buy an ultrasonic sensor like in photo 1. My concern is about dust.
It will not work in a hostile environment, just dust found naturally in the atmosphere, possibly of wind. Is there any way to protect the transmitter and receiver from dust? I could replace them with sensors protected from dust as shown in the second figure?
