[SOLVED] Using a 9.6V 1600mAh Airsoft Battery to power an Arduino Uno

Hi there!

I'm new to the Arduino stage, but I wanted to make a fake bomb prop for my friend, who owns a paintball field. With that, he said he would like for it to be powered with a rechargeable airsoft battery. I know, you can power the Arduino Uno with a regular 9V battery, but is there a way to power one with a 9.4V NiMH battery? He also asked if it can be used with a 7.4V or 11.1V.

Thanks!

7V to 12V s the quoted range for Vin I believe.

All three of those batteries would be fine.
The onboard regulator will run cooler at the lower voltages.

Awesome! Thanks guys!
