pasting sketch into web editor ?

Is there a way to copy and paste a sketch from any source outside of web editor into the "New sketch" in the on-line editor?

I am using Samsung Chromebook with a wireless mouse and can copy a sketch which is formatted correctly and does paste into an off-line version of Arduino and does paste correctly onto a text doc but does not paste into the Arduino web editor new sketch.

I have not been able to save the sketch from other sources to my Google Drive acct. as an .ino file using the Chromebook. If I could do that I might be able to fetch it out of GDrive as I do other sketches and import into Editor. Any suggestions? Thanks

You would use CTRL C and CTRL V to copy paste from external sources.

How are you trying to paste? I remember it being reported a while back that the context menu is missing the paste option but I see that they have now added a note to it "To Paste Press ctrl V".
