Installation driver MKR Zero

Hello,

I try to install driver MKR Zero on W7 but windows can't find it.
Where I can download the driver ?

Thank you.

The driver is usually installed when you install the board cores.

INSTALL CORES

Open the IDE (1.8.5 upward)

Install core 01.png

Select TOOLS, BOARD, BOARD MANAGER

In board manager type NANO or MKR etc into the empty box and press enter.
Wait for the selections to complete

Select your particular board and click the INSTALL.
WAIT until the install is complete
Although not required it may be worth closing the IDE before using your new board.

Hello,

I'm new with MKR Zero boards, I followed the steps that you said, however, the system is not showing me anything when I type 'MKR' on the Boards Manager browser (literally nothing is being listed). I'm using Arduino 1.8.10 IDE on a Windows 10 OS.

When I left empty the BM browser it only shows the 'Arduino AVR Boards' block.

@trejkev

Not that I think it makes much difference but did you use lower or upper case ?
Also here have been many different reported issues with 1.8.10 and the general advice seems to be to roll back to 1.8.9.

Does the hardware show ANYTHING or make the hardware found noise in windows device manager when you plug it in or unplug it.

Hello Bob;

Just solved, I reinstalled the IDE and then I was able to download it (I don't know why, but it worked).

Thanks,

Not sure how you fixed it either LOL.
But glad you did.
Have fun but be warned these little gadgets can become addictive. :grinning:
