Arduino Uno R3, Programmer is not responding

Hi everyone,

please help with this, I'm newbie to Arduino

I couldn't upload the Blink example to the Arduino Uno R3 board, it's my first board and my first program.

I had a previous problem that the board was not recognized by windows 7, troubleshooting that was by download FLIP and upload the boot loader again, then the board was recognized by the system (see attached)

I selected the board and the port in the IDE tools menu (see attached) and when I tried to upload the Blink example, The L led light blinked three quick times and the RX blinked once but the TX didn't and I got the message:

avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x11

for ten attempts the symptoms were the same.

PS: Full verbose output is attached

Troubleshooting:
1 - Checked the Board type and port number again in the IDE.
2 - Changed the USB cable.
3 - Made a Loop back test with the Serial Monitor Application on tools menu in the IDE and done well.
4 - Made sure that nothing is attached to the board (no wires or shields)
5 - Tried to reset manually before the upload, same symptoms.
6 - Changed the computer to one running Windows 7 32Bits, no luck.

Please advise

Thanks

Could you explain exactly which bootloader you loaded using FLIP?

This one ?
