I'd like to apologize to @spycatcher2k. I was offended by something terribly rude that she said to another poster and I tried to repay her rudeness with more rudeness and that was wrong. I took my lumps.
Still, I implore her to either be a little more understanding of people having to guess at her gender or if it really means that much to her then she should make it obvious that she is of a certain gender and wishes to be addressed in a certain way. I don't think it is fair for her to attack someone for using what is generally considered by most to be neutral language. Still, I shouldn't have answered that with even more rudeness. And for that I am sorry.
I hope there's no hard feelings.
