Gyus,
I have one of these fuel senders in my car and want to hook it up to my Arduino - on page 3 of this PDF it explains how it works - i have verified correct operation with an Ohmmeter - just wondering what the physical connection to the Arduino would look like (the gauge that i got with this is dead and rather than buy another i thought i could interface it to a Mega that i was going to install into the car)

How about making it one arm of a voltage divider and reading the voltage at the centre point on an analog pin?

OK i will give that a try and see what i get back - thanks

It should be no different than reading a pot. The only difference is that the fuel level adjusts the resistance, not your hand.

Thanks will let you know after the weekend how it went
