I am looking for a pretty simple relay to start/stop a water pump that is only 40W @ 220V
Will something like that work for me?

How will that be connected, do I need a transistor + diode to make the relay switch?
Thanks!

Yes that will work nicely. It's way overkill as far as how much current it can handle but the price is very very good as these things usually go for much more in that size. Anyway you can directly wire the + input to a arduino digital output pin and the - input to a arduino ground pin and you are good to go. No resistor or transistor required as that is all handled internally in that module.
Good luck;

I know it's obvious but remember to use a digout, not a PWM.

Thanks for your replays guys,
the relay is on the way
