Problem getting an SD card to read with wiznet w5100

Hi All,

I seem to be having a problem connecting to an SD card using a Nano and a w5100 on a shield for the Nano (See attached pictures of setup)

Ive tried running the sdinfo example from the sdfat library and get the following errors

type any character to start
error: cardBegin failed
SD errorCode: 0X43,0X5D

type any character to start
error: cardBegin failed
SD errorCode: 0X43,0XFF

How do I find a list of error codes for the library and has anyone got any advice on what the error may be?

Please show your code using code tags.

Thanks for the response. What code are you referring to?

The code for the program that you upload to the Arduino Nano.

Hi No problem.

Its the example from the sdFat library

Have you formatted the card in the proper manner? There is a sticky on this at the head of this forum.

Yes it was the first thing I had tried.

Thanks

Correct pin used?

const uint8_t SD_CHIP_SELECT = 4;    <==========

I believe so. I have checked the pins on the shield and from what I can see there are 2 pins being used for the CS one for the ETH side and one for the SD?

I have tried both
