MPU6050 or BNO050 0.01 degrees with Arduino

Hi guys,

What is the best accuracy that you got out of these sensors?

We need to level piece of aluminum of 1 meter to an 0.01 degrees accuracy.

So far we concluded that both of them have an deadband of +/- 0.3 degrees.

What is your experience?

With extremely careful calibration of the accelerometer and by averaging hundreds of measurements, you should be able to do somewhat better than +/- 0.3 degrees. But probably not +/- 0.01 degrees.

There is no "deadband", but small changes in measurements will be masked by noise, as discussed in the data sheets.
