Halo, i am planing to build a remote mp3 player for special purposes. i don't know much about arduino and i am more like a beginner so please help.
I will by a remote relay board with 6 or more relays control the mp3 module, so i want one of the following mp3 modules ( because they are the cheapest )
I want to use them without arduino board, and i would like it to function like this:
if i have a remote relay with 12 relays that's like 12 momentary buttons, i want the momentary buttons to function like this:
button 1 - volume up
button 2 - volume down
button 3 - pause ( if possible) when press again then resume ( if possible)
button 4 - song 1
button 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 --- song2,song3,song4,song5,song6,song7,song8,song9
is it possible to configure these mp3 modules as i want ?
if yes a schematics would be great.
Maybe he wants to make his own stand alone board using the chip from the arduino? I do this all the time.
So do I.
However that is not what he said. An Arduino is an Arduino no matter how it is constructed. If he were capable of making his own he would know this would he not?
As cosmicfrog said, i want to use the mp3 player module that is meant to use with arduino as a standalone board, that will be controlled by a momentary switches.
I am fixing computers for living, and as i said i am a newbie with arduino and would be very grateful if somebody would help me with this Arduino project.
i am reading the datasheets and i don't quite understand them, but think that what i want is possible.
from the first mp3 module i find this from datasheet:
so it has a function for selecting which song will be played with momentary swishes, but how do i set this mp3 module to work in that way - mode?

Well that is not what you said.

The English in the data sheet is very poor but Page 4 of the data sheet says:-
Resistor settings control mode in front of the module, marked with ABC character defaults module 010,
So you set that mode by setting those jumper pins. However that is not using an Arduino and unlike your original requirements there is no volume control nor pause control.
yes i see, it is good for sound triggering with pins, but no volume control, and i need volume control, and the sound module number 2 has that function but only with 3 songs and volume control or 5 songs and no volume control.
is it possible i use the sound module only for sound triggering with momentary switches, and then use this ds1669 circuit for volume control with buttons:
is it possible i use the sound module only for sound triggering with momentary switches, and then use this ds1669 circuit for volume control with buttons:
Yes.
The output will need feeding into an audio amplifier.
I also looked for digital potentiometer modules but did not find a good one for me, so i will use the DS1669 circuit, but what DS1669 chip do i need 10 kOhms, 50 kOhms or 100 kOhms if i use with 1. mp3 module and if il use this amplifier: KEMO M032 12 W
and from the list of configuration for the mp3 module which configuration is for sound triggering mode:
and also what do you think about the sound quality of the end sound will there be some noise in the sound ?
Yes but what combination is for song triggering? i am thinking it is one of the first 6 combination and i also think it is the default value 010 am i right ?
