Retro lamps

I am working on a retro style vehicle cockpit for a simulator that is being overall controlled by an arduino. I am trying to identify these old style lamps that were commonly found on guitar amps back in the day. They have a bit of gem style to them. Please see attached picture of oil pressure, oil filter, etc indicators in the center of the dash. This is the link to the image if it is too hard to see: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/40/Nissan_GTP_ZX-Turbo_cockpit.JPG

Thanks for your help.

Hi, Not near catalogs, but they still do exist.. Typically they used a small bayonet base incandescent pilot lamp like 1847, 1891 etc. The faceted glass colored lens' screwed in from the front so the bulb could be replaced.

Used to be very common. But then I used to be very much younger...

The bulbs?

Or the lenses?

I think I'd go lens and put in LEDs, more durable for a race car.

Ah yes, the Lucas smoke theory.
My mum had a Morris Mini K 1000, that's what they called the model here in Australia, it had those diamond/jewel lamp bezels.

That's it! Thanks CrossRoads!!

Thanks to everyone else as well for helping. I might have to fabricate something, as finding the actual light fixture and bulbs seems to be a bit difficult. I may take you advice and use an LED beind the lens somehow. I ordered some parts from china on ebay, so we'll see how they are when I get them sometime next month.

Thanks again for your help.
