Arduino MKR Wifi 1010 with MKR Ethernet Shield

Hi all!
I am using a MKR Wifi 1010. I created a sketch that successfully connected to Arduino IoT cloud with regular wifi.

After that, I moved the arduino to its permanent location with only WPA2 enterprise wifi, and because it doesn't work with wpa2 enterprise, suddenly I couldn't connect. I bought an ethernet shield & installed over the top & connected to ethernet. I'm now having trouble connecting.

I know the Arduino IOT cloud requires certain boards to work and thought the MKR wifi 1010 would work, but perhaps not with ethernet?

Or should I just give up and get Arduino Sim?

Thanks!

hi @stormwater

you guessed right: the connection over Ethernet is not yet supported.
we have not implemented the Ethernet Connection Handler.
Which shield are you using? the MKR Ethernet shield is not far from completion, but I'm not able to give you an ETA as of now

MKR ethernet shield, yeah!

Got it. That's exciting. If it's coming soon I'll keep it around for a future experiment in that location! Thanks for your support!
