Error Uploading to new Atmega328p

Hi,

I purchased a few Bootloaded Atmega328. I removed the original existing atmega from the arduino board and replaced it with the bootloaded atmega328 i purchased.

I never uploaded any blink code to the new IC but the on board LED keeps blinking.

When I tried to upload my code that has worked on the original IC there was no issues. On the new IC i get the following message:

Any advice?

It looks to me like they weren't actually "bootloaded". If you have an ISP programmer or a spare Arduino board you can use as an "Arduino as ISP" programmer, try burning the bootloader on it:
