ethernet shield R3 on mega 2560 (R1 or R2)

i 've buy my ethernet shield this week for my arduino mega 2560, but there is no place for pin IOREF, SDA or SCL of the ethernet shield on my mega!
i try it !

it seem's to work (light on RJ45 port)

but when i upload example web server with an IP address, it answer on monitor : server is at 0.0.0.0

I've seen on internet that the pin are too long to insure a good contact on ICSP connector, so I cut 2mm of each pin ... but I have the same result!!!

PS: i power my mega with 12V transformer (easyer for me)

Cut the Mega ICSP pins? They should not need to be cut. Do the ICSP pins on the Mega fit securely into the shield socket after you cut them?

You don't have a uSD card in the shield slot, do you?

PS: i power my mega with 12V transformer (easyer for me)

Have you tried using usb power?
