Hi,
I have just received the arduino starter kit (very excited). I want to use the tri-color led and I have found a program at ww.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/LEDCross-fadesWithPotentiometer . It is mentioned there that it assumes arduino 0004 and I have the duemilanove. Can I use the program as is or should i change it [maybe the Serial.begin(9600)] ?

I am proud of that ASCII lettering. Even more proud that I made it on an iPod touch.
For a while the server was having lots of problems that resulted in a lot of errors back to posters. So posters would resend the post, because they believed their initial one didn't make it to the board (when it really had made it). This resulted in a lot of double posts. About 30 seconds difference between these duplicate posts says to me that was likely the case here.
The situation has improved, but the load on the board is often lighter on weekends than it is during the week. In addition, the board is moving to a higher level hosting plan for more capacity. We'll see by Monday if things have improved for good.
