Using external 5V power source and 3.7V battery at the same time.

Hi,

I have a project using the MKR1000.

And I want to use both power sources using external 5V power source and 3.7V battery at the same time.

And also I want to use external power for charging battery when external power is available, and I want to use a power source with battery if external power source is disconnected.

But as I know, there is only one port for VIN.

So I am wondering how to use both power sources.

If you have some ideas, please help me.

can you not use the USB as the power source for when you have proper power and the LiPo connector for the battery ?

That is how most of us run both sources at the same time.
The USB source charges the LiPo when it is available.
