Since they're putting ads in the middle of the threads now, they should share the wealth with the content creators. I bet a lot of people can't even afford half the stuff they're being used to market.

What ads are you referring to?
SImply BLOCK "ads.supplyframe.com" with either an ADD blocker or even at your router / modem.
Not sure about how they could share money with me when I never see them in the first place but hey I would take it.

No, not pay us for looking. They should pay us for page views. Think youtube. Every time someone looks at your thread they get served some ads and you get a couple pennies for attracting them to see the ad. We could make this place the new instagram, with influencers coming to start uninteresting threads with very interesting titles pushing instructables that don't work. It would be great.

We keep the moderators. We start paying them too. They make sure that all the posts are at least tangentially about Arduino.
You know, sex sells. But we don't want people just posting a bunch of porn vids to get views. But if some of the toys involved are Arduino controlled... The moderators can figure all of that out.
Interestingly enough, I have only seen the same one or two ads marketing... "Arduino Engineering Kit". Not sure what they think I'm doing here. 
I'm just glad they're not the popup type of ads.
