prevent from topics listed beyond "unread posts" which I never looked to before

@mods and admins:
I always get topics listed beyond "unread posts" which I never looked to before, and never commented, and not even interest me at all, moreover often in foreign languages I do not even speak?

e.g.,

How can this be prevented?

Where do you get those lists?

...R

in the top line

  Arduino Forum                                Alerts 1    Unread Posts    Updated Topics

I never take any notice of that :slight_smile:

to me it's convenient for those topics I am actually following, but unfortunately much "noise" in there...

But now: how to filter that "noise"?

so which is the solution for cleaning those uninteristing noise I never subscribed to?

@dsyleixa, why do I find your programming questions in "installation and troubleshooting"?

Use "updated topics" instead. It will show you just the ones on threads you've posted to. Unread post is going to show you posts from any thread you've looked at.
