Sound module for RC boat

Hi,

I am in progress of building an RC steam ship. I want to build a steam sound generator. That would mean following:

When trottle set to zero, it would do hissing sound of idling steam. When the ship is moving (servo style trottle input on Arduino), the steam sound of high and low pressure cylinders sounds, the ofter the faster the ship is moving.

Handling the servo input is not a problem, but how could I do the sound like this? Which sound/playback hardware would you recommend (Arduino Pro Mini or Nano, maybe Uno)? Which sound lib?

No.

Look for sound generation modules. There are several for model train enthusiasts, so search for "model train steam sound module". There are also a few for steam boats.
