[SOLVED] Font antialiasing ignored on Linux

Hi All,
I am using the 1.6.5 IDE on Fedora 23 with i3wm as window manager. I need to stick to 1.6.5 because of compatibility with a few libraries I need to use.

Whatever settings I specify for the font antialiasing, it is always ignored.

Any idea of how I could solve this? Thanks!

I've found the issue. The IDE was actually working, it was just the antialiasing setting that was ignored at Java level. Java can be set to use antialiased fonts by using environment variables as described at Java Runtime Environment fonts - ArchWiki .
