So I am trying to make a DHT 11/22 project that displays the temp and humidity and has a corresponding led that blinks based on temp parameters. Although I have run into a major problem during simulation the current through back light is 23.7 kA while the max is 20.0mA. I built it and it fried my sensor can someone offer any advice. I have attached a pic of the circuit.
Do you have a current limiting resistor for the backlight? Do you need one?
Have you looked at that picture you posted? Do you think that tangled mass of same colored wires helps? Why don't you forget the fritzing for a minute, heap a pencil and paper, and make a little better drawing. Or at least color those wires so one can see what goes to what.
Delta_G beat me to it.
As soon as I see a Fritzy drawing I look away.
Sorry - but there are better ways to draw a schematic.
