The ending section of this wiki about creating a library is wrong:
It says to open the Sketch / Show Sketch Folder, but on Ubuntu, that is in /tmp, and it says it will show up in File / Sketchbook / Examples, when it should show up in Sketch / Import Library, because these are libraries, not example applications.
I don't have sufficient permissions to update the wiki.
