[SOLVED]Arduino MKR1000 not visible in the board list (IDE 1.6.8)

Hardware MKR Family MKR1000

Try to get started wiht MKR1000

Upgraded IDE to 1.6.8
Installed core Arduino SAMD 32 Bit ARM coretx M0+ 1.6.4

Board is recognized by USB and serial com is created

But in the board list I don't have MKR1000 in the SAMD section but just Arduino Zero (programmin and native USB)

any idea why this happens ?

Notice that I have installed also sparkfun core for SAMD since I use SAMD21 minibreakout

SOLVED

unisntalling the installed (previous to upgrade to 1.6.8 ) core Arduino SAMD 32 Bit ARM coretx M0+ 1.6.4 and re-installing it from scratch
