Hi folks,
I set out here to make a sort of audio-reactive lamp for a Uni project about interpreting music in unusual ways. Basically, this plugs in to a laptop and a vvvv sketch featuring FFT and BeatTracker interprets whatever the laptop hears through an array of LED's under the skin of the model.
This represents my first project with either vvvv or arduino and as a result the code is a bit of a frankenstein's monster of other peoples work. I owe thanks to everyone here and at the vvvv forums, whilst I didn't post during the making of this I solved all of the problems I came across by reading threads from people with similar problems.
