External power-related questions (often power turning off)

12v 10a adapter >> dc y cable >> dc motor, linear actuator, node mcu We distribute it to three places and use it as power source

When driving a linear actuator (when it stops?), The node mcu seems to turn off occasionally. Is it because the linear actuator draws a large current, and the node mcu also has a large current?

It is powered by the node mcu through the step down module (12v to 5v) in the figure below, but the module gets hot.
The module spec says load current can not exceed 800ma.

Is it a current problem?
Let me know how to distribute the current differently with one adapter.

You are joking!

That is not a power supply, it is a "step down module" for powering - essentially single microcontrollers and a few little LEDs. Like the built-in regulator on an Arduino for powering the Arduino board itself - and really nothing else.

It could barely supply 200 mA. :astonished:

Get a proper "buck converter".
