i want to build a aquarium reef led light controller

hello there guys

i am looking to build a 50w aquarium led light and want to use the sunset/sunrise feature and have seen loads of videos and builds as I'm new to arduino i aint got a clue about programing etc

what i want is to have at least 6-8 channels where i can use most channels for the led and some for the fan to cool the heatsink down with and possible add a temp controller within the led light casing

so is there anyone that can help me out and is also into saltwater aquariums

Hi, if you posted here i will suppose that you have an arduino 101, then i recommend you to use MIT app inventor with arduino 101 extension, it help you to direct manage arduino 101 pins using Android (5 or newer) with bluetooth also you only program once, as a comment apart from arduino programing you also need extra electronic to handle the needed power for you LED lamps, and fan, also you need a temperature sensor, and for rough use i recomend a case to put your arduino.

app invetor 2: http://ai2.appinventor.mit.edu
link to arduino 101 extension: http://iot.appinventor.mit.edu/#/arduino101/arduino101intro

cheers.
