FIle menu -> preferences path is somewhere below on the popup
On my windows XP PC:
C:\Documents and Settings\Primary Windows User\Application Data\Arduino
0 Folders:
1 Files:
preferences.txt
Lefty
arduino folder -> lib -> preferances.txt.
If you want to alter more of the IDE, go in to the theme folder, go into theme.txt, then alter all the colours. I tried it once, to personalise it and make it more interesting. The result was hideously ugly. XD
