Also wenn ich (ich habe noch nie mit den Neopixel gearbeitet) richtig sehe, arbeiten die mit 5V und es wird erklärt:
First up, the higher density means much higher power usage over a certain distance - 18 Watts max (~3.5 Amps @ 5V) per meter instead of 9.6 Watts max (~2 Amps @ 5V). The max rating is assuming all the LEDs are on full white, usually the actual current for colorful design is about 1/3 to 1/2 the max current. A good power supply such as our 5V 10A supply is key!
Also wird das so mit Deinem Aufbau schon einmal nichts! Da kann das "Kackteil" auch erst einmal nichts für... Dein Aufbau ist nur nicht korrekt, und Dein Stepup nicht ausreichend dimensioniert!
EDIT: Dein Akku hört sich schwer nach einer 18650 Zelle an (ich hoffe nicht irgendwas no name aus der Bucht). Rechne Dir mal aus wielange Du bei der Last Freude mit dem Lichtschwert pro Ladung hast (P=U*I).
