Atmega 16u2 DFU

Using Arduino IDE 1.x

OK I got an Arduino Uno r3 and connected to my pc.

Wrote an example and tried to upload.. It showed com 1 not found..

I went to device manager and it showed in other devices "Atmega 16u2 DFU".

what to do to get it working
