Arduino RUMBA used as arduino mega + shiel possible ?

Hi all,

I'm new in the hobby and my project need some steppers motors 5 or 6 and 2 solenoides.
I found the beautiful arduino RUMBA which seems perfect for my project being "all inclusive", with good and easy connection to external device, one power input for everything ...

As an Arduino Atmega 2560 base I hope I could use it as a classique Arduino + motor shield/driver with internal code only, no computer connection to works.

Is it possible ?
If yes, how could I use it not as a 3D printer brain ?

I didn't find any information about it, like a data sheet, to know which I/O ligne works with motor controler, sensor input, hot bed output ...
