Few questions on SSR Controlling by controller

Hi,
I've efw questions on controlling the ssr by controller.
SSR(24V).
I need to turn on the SSR based on the temperature feed back.
What I thought is to directly connect the one terminal of SSR to the GPIO of controller(3.3V) to be specific MSP432.
What my understanding is when GPIO is high, Both the terminal of SSR at high state so SSR won't be ON and when GPIO is low, SSR will be triggered.
Is that good way of doing or Do I have use Transistor based or TPL707 series driver.

Do you have a the part number for the SSR and a link to the specs?

If it's really 24V, then yes you need a 24V source and a transistor. But with the schematic showing an external resistor you should be able to operate it directly from 3.3V with the appropriate resistor (and the 100 Ohm resistor is probably about right)
