As you can see, there is a shield and a separate AC board.
I recommend the AC board, simply for safety reasons. If you however choose to make the shield, I recommend covering the AC parts with insulation, like epoxy glue, or heat resistant tape like Kapton (see: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5442 for an example)
The PDF file should print so its optimal for PCB production. Let me know how it works out. If need be, I can make you a PCB, as we have PCB production facilities at my hacker space: labitat.dk.
The bottom part of the pdf print is a guide that should make it easier to couple drilled holes with correct placement of parts.
