Hello, I also have a similar question. So my load cell is a 20kg and it needs 10v for its excitation. Whereas my hx711 board can only take 5v max based on the day a sheets. I hope it won't be a problem to by pass the hx711 E- and E+ and power the load cell from normal battery. But I will still connect the load cell outputs to the hx711 A+ & A-.
Please help!
