I recently got a MKR1000 and I need to run a motor using a 9 volt battery.
Any suggestion on if that voltage is safe for the voltage?
The question you are posing does not make sense. Your MRK1000 should only be used to "trigger" an action such as closing a contact on a "motor shield" that handles the motor load.
