Which arduino multiplexer has the most analog inputs

Which Arduino multiplexer (or other multiplexer) has the most number of analog inputs. I am trying to manually build a pixel array of some where around 500-800 pixels. I would like to read these pixels into a current meter and then send that signal to a micro controller to display on a screen.

Bit of an odd question.
You can cascade multiplexers so it matters not what you use. However the 4051 is probbly the best to use but also look at the 4052 and 4053.

That is true you can cascade them but I am trying to fit the whole assembly into a relatively small space. Thank you for the recommendation, I will look it up now.

Update - would it be possible to use a CCD or CMOS to read and display 500 pixels. I will have little tiny 0.2mm wires coming from each pixel, could these be connected to a CMOS?

what do you mean by "read"?

like make arduino watch TV?

Read from what?
