12V Lipo battery question.

Just about to buy one of these things for my standby solar power system to replace the Lead Acid battery and
it struck me , how do you get 12 V from a LIPO battery, given the 3.7 cell voltage.
Or are these batteries really 11V but quoted as being 12V.

The batteries are 3.7V nominal, but go up to 4.23 when charged, as on that page:

The voltage of a Li-poly cell varies from about 2.7 V (discharged) to about 4.23 V (fully charged), ...

So you could probably say that is "12V" when charged.
