Connecting Microswitches to an Arduino Uno Board

I have this Uno board that I got a while back from my brother that I haven't used for any real purposes apart from building some occasional projects, but now I want to build a controller for a music game, and they work with Microswitches.

I got mechanical keyboard switches working on my board before, but I was wondering if it's possible to plug these microswitches into the board and make them output keystrokes.

Thanks in advance.

Did the micro switches not work when you tried to use them!

akumatose:
...build a controller for a music game, and they work with Microswitches.
... make them output keystrokes.

Do you mean a PC game? With the Arduino emulating a keyboard or joystick? That is possible with some models of Arduino, but not with Uno. So you cannot have done that.

Microswitches are just switches. There is nothing magic about them. Electrically they are no different to keyboard switches, pushbuttons, reed switches etc.
