Error compiling DHT11

Hi All, Not sure if this is posted in the right forum?
I'm getting the following errors, any help would be appreciated :slight_smile:

"C:\Users\Scott\AppData\Local\Temp\ccVZ3FeX.ltrans0.ltrans.o: In function `loop':"

"C:\Users\Scott\Downloads\dht11A/dht11A.ino:80: undefined reference to `dht11::read(int)'

collect2.exe:"
error: ld returned 1 exit status

exit status 1

Please put your code in code tags, it's hurting my eyes. Also, it's a general convention that you should put the "#include" and variable definitions at the top of your code, not at the bottom. I had to do a Ctrl+F to find the #include line. From your error message it appears that the function "read(int)" doesn't exist in the library. I'd suggest using this guide which has a link to the Adafruit DHT sensor library, which is extremely easy to use. Your code seems awfully complicated.
