Hello. I sent this post in another subforum but I think this is the most indicated. Basically, SIM800L only find one operator, always the same, even with different modules, even with different sim cards.

The module tries to register at the beginning, but never gets it. VCC ok, sim pin ok, band ok, signal ok:

AT+CBAND?
+CBAND: EGSM_MODE,ALL_BANDOK
The previous version (sim900) works ok. I'm starting to think that it's incompatible with certain types of sim cards.
Any suggestion, before leaving it definitively?

Sim800L module is not for Europe market and is limited for China market, instead, sim800H module which can pin to pin compatible with sim800L module is suitable one for you. attached documents are for your reference. Besides, SIM800L has no RED certification.
Sim800L don't has special firmware for Europe market, thanks.
