Windows 7 64bit (Windows Can't initialize the device driver (Code 37))

Help me, Please!
I tried installs arduino uno r3 (made in Italy) driver by arduino IDE v.1.8.2 But it can not be installed. And symptoms like the picture.

No port in arduino IDE!!!

Thank you everybody for help and Sorry for bad grammar.

Not an expert here but you can give a try, I have been a lot of troubleshooting lately!

Try updating the driver once.

Because when you install the Arduino IDE it does update the USB driver to recognize your board.

The second pic is just a pic of an open IDE...nothing to see there folks...

Your best bet if you are unsure about anything Arduino related is to "run as administrator"

That in itself often fixes a lot of issues. NOTE that this is ABOVE a user with admin rights !

The other common issue with windows (mostly 8 to 10) is driver enforcement.
Try turning it off. Google driver enforcement windows 7

Let us know how you get on after that and BTW I am attaching a clean up routine that works for a lot of people.

CLEAN UP BEFORE INSTALLING ANOTHER COPY OF THE IDE OR ARDUINO CREATE.pdf (345 KB)
